From an early age, Dr. Ohri knew she would become a physician. Growing up in India, she was exposed to the practice of Ayurveda, meditation and her mother’s practice of homeopathy. She attributes her ability to think and function at a high level due to the natural remedies, good nutrition and very supportive parents and lifestyle, growing up. She has had a lifelong fascination with how the body functions and how we can use diet, medicine, and the natural substances all around us to enhance our health. These substances may be bioidentical hormones, natural medicines derived from plants, vitamins, or nutrients.
In addition, Dr. Ohri has trained extensively in traditional allopathic medicine, completing residencies in OB & GYN and Family Medicine. The health of her patients is very personal to her. Dr Ohri takes her time to really understand the patient, and as she likes to say ‘walk in their shoes’ to get to the key reasons of ill health. She attributes the near 95-100% success rate of her care (even with patients, who have been to multiple specialists, unsuccessfully for myriad of conditions before seeing her) to the average time she spends with her patients 30-60 min rather than the average 7 minutes that one gets in a traditional doctor’s office, the high level of motivation of her discerning patients and her integrative plan. Patients have a very loving and personal partner in her and her personalized integrative medical plan for them, which she tweaks, along the way to get optimum results. She educates them extensively and encourages them to truly understand their bodies, hormones etc. It’s no wonder that patients have great faith in her and the partnership brings total health and happiness to most.
Many a patient has taken their first step in the external Anti-aging (Aesthetic Medicine) for the first time with her. This includes Fillers, Botox/Dysport, Peels and PRP facial rejuvenation to match the wellness they feel inside.
